Armenia, Iran enjoy top level bilateral relations

Armenian and Iranian foreign ministers Edward Nalbandian and Ali Akbar Salehi met recently, Panarmenian.net. reported.
The interlocutors stressed the high level of Armenian-Iranian relations based on trust and friendship.

Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and in particular those in the policy, development of inter-parliamentary relations, energy, transport and humanitarian aspects. The foreign ministers have also examined the issue of an Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission.

Ali Akbar Salehi updated his Armenian counterpart with recent processes over the Iranian nuclear issue, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
