Anonymous attack Korean, Israeli websites

The South Korean right-wing website Ilbe has complained it has suffered connectivity problems as a result of an attack by the international hacker organization Anonymous, which has also hacked the Uriminzokkiri North Korean propaganda website. Ilbe said that attack amounted to wanton dissemination of personal information.
Ilbe members retaliated by entering the chatroom used by Anonymous and stirring them up, using insulting language and flooding the chatroom up with repeated text.
Anonymous Korea said about their hacking of Uriminzokkiri that they wanted to send a warning to the regime of Kim Jong-un, and claimed on its Twitter account that it was not involved with denial of services at Ilbe.
According to reports, Anonymous opposes censorship in countries around the world and insists that its objectives are freedom of expression and the free movement of information, and that the anonymous members of the organization operate independently.
Anonymous first became notorious in 2010, when they attacked the US financial institutions that cut off funding for WikiLeaks. It also attacked the websites of the Egyptian and Syrian governments, which had used military force to crush pro-democracy demonstrations.
Anonymous Korea warned they would launch further attack on the North Korean computer network on the day when the Korean War broke out (June 25), and would also mount a cyber attack on North Korean nuclear facilities.
