Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan met with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko.

Ambassador congratulated Taron Margaryan on his appointment expressing confidence that friendly and economic ties between Yerevan and Moscow, as well as other Russian cities will develop in the future, municipality press service reported.

Mayor of Yerevan stressed importance of cooperation with Russian cities stressing that planned joint programs will continue. Yerevan’s municipality is open for discussion of new mutually beneficial projects, he added.
