Tax inspector accused of abusing privileges in Armenia.

Lori regional attorney’s office launched a criminal case against the senior tax inspector of Vanadzor city revenue committee for abusing service privileges.

As the press service of Armenia’s Attorney General office informed, on the demand of the inspector, 6 companies operating in Vanadzor city during 2004-2010 years had been providing the university tuition payment of inspector’s son, who was studing at RA State Agrarian University.

At the same time as it turns out the inspector had known that his own brother was involved in illegal business activities but did not do anything to suppress the illegal business or to recover the caused damages.
