Armenian-Chinese ties discussed at Armenia’s interim government

Armenia’s Acting PM Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Gu Chaosi, the Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
“Relations with China are of great importance for Armenia. Our country looks toward deepening Armenian-Chinese ties,” Sargsyan said.
In his turn, Gu Chaosi conveyed to Sargsyan the warm greetings by the Chinese PM.
“We are happy for your achievements. In bilateral relations, we also have gained extensive knowhow from Armenia,” stated the Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of China.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction by the high-level bilateral political relations.
Sargsyan extended his appreciation to China for manifesting a balanced political approach toward the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. They also underscored the need to develop economic ties.
Armenia’s acting PM also asked the Chinese deputy minister to convey to the Premier of China his invitation to visit Armenia.
In addition, Tigran Sargsyan extended his thanks to China for its provision of humanitarian assistance to Armenia, and wished new success to the Chinese people.
