RA NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan in the National Assembly hosted journalists and media heads accredited in the Parliament.

On December 28 on the occasion of the New Year and the Holy Nativity the NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan hosted in the National Assembly journalists and media heads accredited in the parliament.

Welcoming the guests the NA Speaker in his word in particular, said: “Such meetings that have become tradition in the National Assembly, I think should be of continuous nature. Our works are conditioned by each other. There cannot be parliament, parliamentarism without press and vice versa.”In the words of the Head of the Parliament: “The National Assembly, the deputies work rather publicly. And if there are problems with making your work easier and more public, I am ready to work with you and solve all the problems,” the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed willingness. “I highlight your work. Without your work there won’t be results of our work.”

Congratulating the journalists on the occasion of the coming New Year and Christmas Samvel Nikoyan wished them health and success. “Let the New Year bring kindness, peace to all of us, in order each of us can live welfare life and in peaceful world,” The Speaker of the National Assembly wished them.

By the order of the RA NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan for professionally and diligently covering the works of the parliament the journalists accredited in the NA Marietta Khachatryan (Azg daily), Gayane Zargrayan (Iravunk newspaper), Hasmik Hambardzumyan (panorma.am), Maya Khachatryan (Public Television Company of Armenia), cameraman Hovhannes Kosyan (Yerkir Media TV Company) and photographer Felix Khachatryan (Armenpress agency) were awarded the RA NA Speaker’s nominal watches.
