Arthur Abraham conveys New Year congratulations to all Armenians.

Famous Armenian boxer Arthur Abraham has congratulated Armenians on the occasion of the coming New Year. 

In a statement issued on Thursday, Abraham wished his compatriots love, health and welfare.

“May 2012 be only year of high-standing goals, achievements and victories for all Armenians,” read the congratulatory statement. 

“On that way we will be assisted by our unity, our trust towards our might and the uncompromising will of Armenians,” the statement added. 

Abraham also made a reference on the Armenian Genocide, calling on Armenians to spare no effort for its recognition and retribution. 

The German-Armenian boxer also wished a peaceful settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. 

“I am sure that these big goals of mine and those of Armenian spread all over the world will become reality, and we will be unified while implementing them. I am proud to be an Armenian,” the boxer added.
