The Armenian Youth Fund implemented 130 programs in 2011.

The Youth Fund of Armenia implemented more than 130 programs in 2011, President of the Fund Karen Avagyan told journalists today. He characterized 2011 as an unprecedented and effective year for the Fund, taking into consideration the number and content of the programs implemented. 

Karen Avagyan specially emphasized the educational programs. 600 students received scholarship to cover the tuition fee within the framework of the 60 mln assistance provided by the Government. 

With the support for the Government, the Youth Fund provided 50 mln AMD to “Quant” college for the renovation of the research center. 

Karen Avagyan also underscored the effective cooperation with non-governmental organizations, as well as the work targeted at the development of the regional branches. 

The doors of the Fund are open to all young people and all good programs, Karen Avagyan said.
