Armenian citizen detained on Georgian-Turkish border

A citizen of Armenia was detained at Sarpi checkpoint on Georgian-Turkish border on charges of importing a prohibited drug “Tramadol”.

The Georgian revenue service said in a statement that 180 tablets of Tramadol “containing narcotic substance” were found.

The case of the Armenian citizen was transferred to the Department of Criminal Police for further action.
