President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday hosted Foreign Minister of Georgia Maia Panjikidze
Greeting the guest President noted that high level relations between Armenia and neighboring Georgia during last 20 years met the historical relations formed between the two friendly nations.
At the meeting Maia Panjikidze and Edward Nalbandian presented to President Sargsyan the steps of the Foreign Ministries of the two states aimed at strengthening of cooperation, as well as the working process of commission which deals with delimitation and demarcation issues of the Armenian-Georgian state border.
President Sargsyan expressed gratitude to Georgian Prime Bidzina Ivanishvili for the attention paid to Armenian historical monuments and for the support to their renovation.
Interlocutors have discussed the possibilities of exploiting the whole cooperation potential in cultural, educational, tourism and other spheres.
Georgian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for warm reception and once again congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of taking the post of president.
At the meeting interlocutors touched on the regional issues and cooperation in frames of the Eastern Partnership.
