Associated Press presented the list of world historical events which took place on April 24, in which April 24, 1915 is marked as day of Armenian Genocide. ”April 24, 1915 is the day when Armenian Genocide launched, as Armenian intellectual and political leaders were slaughtered by Ottoman Empire,” the statement reads.
German old saying “Change and improve are two different things” is the slogan of April 24.
April 24 has been a rather important day in world history. "La Marseillaise" was composed by Claude-Joseph Rouget de Lisle in 1792 the same day. In 1800 Library of Congress was established with $5,000 allocation. In 1916 Easter rebellion of Irish against British occupation began.
