Mikheil Saakashvili advices to travel by bicycle

Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili revealed details of the bicycle incident, Gruzia Online reports.

In an interview to Rustavi 2 Saakashvili said that the incident took place during his morning exercise. “Nothing terrible has happened. I fell into a hole with my bicycle. The news that I was hit by a truck does not correspond to reality,” he said, expressing gratitude to the Turkish doctors for recovering him in one day.

During the same program he stated that after the end of his tenure in October he is not going to quit the politics and will fight for Georgia’s freedom and independence.

“I would like to be adviser to the next president as during these two presidential terms I have understood a lot and gained a great experience. If it is impossible I will be active in the country’s political life,” he said, adding that he will never leave Georgia.
