Antares rocket launch postponed

The first test launch of the Antares rocket has been delayed for two days due to an unexpected glitch, Space.com reported on Wednesday.
With just minutes remaining before a planned 5 p.m. EDT launch Wednesday from a newly refurbished pad at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, a connecting cable popped free from the Antares rocket’s second stage, forcing controllers to abort the attempt.
The rocket’s first stage engines are supplied by Russia in keeping with a preliminary deal clinched in January on the shipment of 50 liquid fuel NK-33 engines.
The Antares rocket is designed to ferry to the International Space Station payloads of up to 6 tons.
