The central staff of the Ministry of Defense today held a consultation during which Minister Seyran Ohanyan presented the priorities and tasks of the Armenian Armed Forces.

Among priorities, Ohanyan emphasized the need for raising military education, military industry, and discipline in the Armed Forces. The Minister also thanked the staff members who greatly contributed to the Armed Forces' success in 2011.

By the order of the Defense Minister, servicemen and civil servants were awarded with medals and diplomas for their exemplary service. Vahram Barseghyan, Advisor to the Defense Minister and Chairman of the Standing Professional Committee under the Ministry of Defense, was awarded with Marshal Baghramyan Medal.
