New head of Georgian presidential administration appointed

The Governor of Shida Kartli region (Eastern Georgia) Andro Barnov has been appointed as head of the Georgian Presidential Administration. As Georgian media outlets reported on Tuesday, he succeeded David Tkeshelashvili, who has worked in this post since 2010.
According to the report, Andro Barnov - formerly known political scientist since 2010 has served as rector of the Military Academy of Georgia, and then - deputy defense minister.
It is unknown who will be the new governor of Shida Kartli region.
