447 babies were born in Yerevan during the holidays - Health Ministry Chief of Staff Suren Krmoyan.

447 babies were born, in the Armenian capital Yerevan, in the first nine days of 2012, Health Ministry Chief of Staff Suren Krmoyan stated during a press conference on Tuesday.

He also informed that, upon the Minister’s instruction, pre- and post-New Year work shifts were carried in all health facilities. 

Also, the Ministry’s hotline worked around the clock during the New Year holidays and received 28 calls.
