Armenia should seek security guarantees from EU after Genocide bill is adopted in France - Armenian expert Levon Shirinyan.
Political
After adoption of a bill on the Armenian Genocide by French parliament, Armenia should seek security guarantees from the EU, political scientist Levon Shirinyan told the journalists on Wednesday.
According to him, the bill should be taken pragmatically. He deems it must be used to the benefit of Armenia’s policy.
The main problem regarding the bill adoption is linked to Turkey’s European integration.
“To integrate Turkey or not to integrate – it is a key issue on EU’s agenda. Meanwhile, Armenia should seek security guarantees from the EU and progress in the Karabakh issue,” he said.
