Charles Aznavour awards certificates to group of Swiss Armenians.

Armenia’s Embassy in Switzerland was the venue, on Tuesday, for the official presentation of certificates and letters of acknowledgement to representatives of the Swiss-Armenian community and Armenian organizations.
During the event, Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland, world-renowned singer Charles Aznavour thanked the recipients for their contribution to Armenian culture and preservation of the Armenian identity.
Charles Aznavour handed Armenia's Culture Ministry's diplomas to Topalian Foundation, distinguished Swiss-Armenian conductor Luke Baghdasaryan, composer Sirvard Ghazanchian, poet, Armenologist Vahe Godel.
Diplomas of the ministry were handed to director of Topalian school Nevrik Azadian, director of Armenology research center at Geneva University Valentina Calzolari Bouvier, teacher of Topalian school Meda Khachatrian.
The Ambassador noted that these certificates and letters of acknowledgement, which are given in connection with the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, are symbolic and an expression of appreciation for the dedicated activities, by all Armenians and foreign personalities alike, in the establishment of independent Armenia, MFA informed.
