Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Thursday outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to Armenia Marcela M. Nicodemos.

The Armenian leader highly appreciated the ambassador’s activities in Armenia and her personal contribution to Armenian-Brazilian relations. In this context, President Serzh Sargsyan pointed out new programs and initiatives on the bilateral agenda.

Armenia’s leader hopes that Ms Marcela M. Nicodemos’ successor will be as active in contributing to the improvement and bilateral relations.

President Serzh Sargsyan wished the Brazilian diplomat further successful activities.

In her turn, Ms Marcela M. Nicodemos’ pointed out efficient bilateral cooperation within international organizations. She highly appreciates the role of the Armenian community in Brazil in developing bilateral relations.

The sides also pointed out the development of bilateral economic ties on the basis of high-level political dialogue and bilateral friendship.
