Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan spoke on soldier’s death.

Being informed about the death of soldier Hayk Khachatryan, RA Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan expressed his condolence to the deceased soldier's family and expressed deep concern over the tragic death.

"The preliminary inquiry has started, and there is still no specific version of the case and the real reason behind the death. Taking that into account, the Ombudsman will refrain from evaluations.

Nevertheless, taking into account the fact that the parents of the deceased soldier have expressed their concerns over the medical assistance and the fact that early alarm about the issues may prevent tragic effects, we call on all soldiers, their parents, relatives and friends to call the Ombudsman's hotline in case of issues, incidents and complaints.

The early calls and our intervention may prevent painful consequences in similar and other kinds of situations, as stated in the message.
