Iranians of Turkish descent not to have separatist moods - Armenian expert.

“Iranian citizens of Turkish descent don’t have any separatist moods, as they think they are Iranians,” expert of Iranian studies Mher Baghdasaryan said in a news conference.
According to him Azerbaijan is trying to artificially “raise” the issue of Turkish speaking Iranians, which can never leave any result.
Expert has underlined that Azerbaijani-Iranian relations are strained since the independence of Iran and the collapse of USSR. “Early in those years some anti-Iranian moods could be felt in Azerbaijan, Iranian citizens of Turkish descent were urged to join them.”
“Azerbaijan is a threat for Iran and Tehran has repeatedly said that if armed operations resume, Iran will attack Azerbaijan,” the expert said.
