Armenian president visits Henik Mailyan Theater-Studio.

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan visited Thursday theatre-studio named after renouned Arenian film actor Henrik Mailyan in Yerevan and got familiarized with the renovation works.

According to a press release by the presidential office, Sargsyan was breifed that the theatre-studio had so far been operating at the small hall of the Cinema House that had not been renovated for 30 years.

In 2011 the Union of Armenian Cinematographists initiated the renovation of the hall and the adjacent area. The renovation was completed in December 2011.

Serzh Sargsyan further watched parts from various plays. Later, the president met with representatives of culture to celebrate the New Year according to old calender.
