New York Times. Americans are not happy with Obama’s foreign policy

Public opinion surveys have shown a drop in Americans’ approval of President Obama’s handling of foreign policy.
Last major surveys, conducted since March, has found Obama’s job approval on foreign policy (the percentage of Americans who approve, minus the percentage that disapprove) to be barely above water, between plus-1 and plus-3 percentage points. In comparison, in the end of the last year these figures were between plus-9 and plus-19 percentage points, The New York Times reports.
Apparently Americans got disappointed with recent politics of Mr. Obama. Yes, he got credit for ending the Iraq War and dealing with Osama bin Laden and Muammar Gaddafi in his time. These times are gone though and now the public’s evaluation of the Obama administration of foreign politics influenced largely on how the current crises are handled. These problems – a war in Afghanistan, Iran’s nuclear program and situations in North Korea and Syria – are much more protracted and mostly are at a deadlock.
Seems Obama are meeting the same fate as George W. Bush did. Thanks to controversies of the Bush administration – including the conflict in Iraq and "War on Terrorism" – the 43rd president of the US lost popularity and in the end had the lowest approval rating of any departing president since Richard Nixon. While Bush is making a comeback nowadays as his approval is climbing up, his "alter-ego" Obama might face the fate of being remembered as historic merely for the fact of his election, political scientists say.
