Chinese MOD delegation visited Yerevan.

A delegation from China’s MOD is visiting Armenia from Jan. 13 to Jan. 15.

On Friday, the Chinese delegation held meetings at Armenia’s MOD, during which the parties discussed the bilateral military cooperation. They also reached accordance on developing the cooperation.

The results of these discussions were summed up during the Chinese delegation’s meeting with First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan. Highly evaluating the development of the Armenian-Chinese military cooperation, Tonoyan underscored the need to fully implement the potential of this cooperation. Afterwards, the Armenian and Chinese MOD officials signed an agreement on bilateral military and military-technical cooperation.     

On Jan. 13, the Chinese MOD delegation was received by Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan. Expressing a delight over the reached accordance, Ohanyan expressed a conviction that the Armenian-Chinese military cooperation has wide prospects for development.
