Armenia and Belarus sign security cooperation program.

The National Security Councils of Armenia and Belarus have signed a 2012-2013 cooperation program.
The press service of Armenia's National Security Council reports that the program was signed during Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan's meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Leonid Maltsev.
At his meeting with Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko, Mr Baghdasaryan conveyed to him his Armenian counterpart's warm greetings.
Mr Baghdasaryan expressed the confidence that the Armenian delegation's visit to Belarus would prove effective in strengthening the Armenian-Belarusian ties.
In his turn, the Belarusian leader pointed out the need for efforts to increase bilateral trade turnover in the context of available potential. Belarus is willing to discuss any proposal for cooperation with the Armenian side, President Lukashenko said.
The Armenian delegation also held a meeting with the top officials of the State Military Industry Committee of Belarus. The sides discussed development of bilateral cooperation.
