An official from Serbian Interior Ministry receives warning for President Tadic’s assassination.

A message warning about plotting of assassination of Serbia President Boris Tadic, Patriarch Irinej, Home Minister Ivica Dacic and Police Director Milorad Veljovic was received on Friday on a mobile phone of one of high officials of Serbia Home Ministry, the online edition of Serbian Blic daily informs. 

The message also says that the new attempt of assassination shall be less spectacular then the one planned at ‘Borik’ in the Republic of Srpska.
The message received is not a threat but a warning. It was sent by someone well informed about what is going on in the criminal circles, who heard information about assassination being plotted’, a source from Serbia Home Ministry says.
The message has been taken very seriously by all bodies competent.
As per the law, ‘Cobras’ a battalion of army police, the Home Ministry and the BIA are in charge of security of the President of Serbia.
Minister Ivica Dacic and Police Director Milorad Veljovic are secured by members of the 5th Department of the Serbia Home Ministry. Members of this department are also in charge of their families’ security.
