New buses will be put into service in parallel with the new public transport network in Yerevan.

The first group of buses - 139 in total - are imported from China and are already in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

The next group is also expected in the coming days, and these new buses will be put into service in parallel with the new public transport network, Yerevan City Hall’s Transportation Department Chief informed Mayor Taron Margaryan, during Monday’s regular working consultation.   

As per the Department Chief, the inspections are also continuing toward regulating public transport, City Hall Press Service informed.

“We must initiate all steps toward providing proper service to our citizens,” Taron Margaryan noted.
