26 families may leave Armenia - open letter to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Over 7 years have passed since 26 families in Amiryan Street, in Yerevan downtown, who lived in areas of state requirement, received neither the land according to contracts, nor apartments, as a result, they wrote a letter to the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
“We had to conclude real estate sales contracts and compensation in 2005 as we were living in areas of state requirement. According to the contract, we should have received our land or apartments from the newly built blocks 30 months later. The construction should have been over in 2008. However, the construction is still not finished and will not be over in the next two years. Moreover, we have granted no property certificates. Hence, we can carry out no legal actions for the half-built blocks,” the letter reads.
The residents claim in case the issue is not solved, they would leave Armenia.
