Armenia’s Embassy in Japan organized a reception Tuesday in honor of the members of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The event brought together Japanese MPs, led by former FM and the ruling Democratic Party’s Political Council member Takeaki Matsumoto, and Toyohisa Kuzuki, Japan’s representative for Central Asia and South Caucasus.
The parties discussed the future steps toward deepening and diversifying Armenian-Japanese relations, the approval of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Japanese parliament, and the recruitment of new members to the Group.
Takeaki Matsumoto noted that no effort will be spared toward implementing, in the Japanese parliament, the programs aimed at the future development of Armenia and of Armenian-Japanese relations.
