RA Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan met Mayor of Ottawa Jim Watson within the framework of civil visits.

At Watson's request, the RA Ambassador presented the Armenian-Canadian political, trade-economic and cultural cooperation, as well as the perspectives of development of that cooperation.

In his turn, the mayor provided information about the municipality's activities, particularly the cultural events and the programs aimed at encouraging young artists' activities.

According to the RA MFA Department of Press, Information and Public Relations, the parties stressed the importance of reinforcing and expanding cooperation in the municipal, trade-economic and cultural spheres.
