Forty-three countries have applied to the European Broadcasting Union to participate in “Eurovision 2012” 57th song contest, which will be held on May 26 in Baku.

The official website of the contest, which has posted the names of the participant countries, says that Armenia is among the participant countries.

The names of the published countries state that Armenia submits application every year, head of the Armenian delegation at Eurovision Gohar Gasparyan informed.

According to her, who will represent Armenia in the song contest and other details will be informed in near future.

Greece, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey are among the 43 participant countries.
