Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian beat his US rival Gata Kamsky at the fourth round of the A group of the Chess Festival held in Wijk Aan Zee, Netherlands.
According to the Armenian sports news website Armsport.am, playing with white figures Aronian won over Gata Kamsky and by winning three points equaled with leading Magnus Carlsen.
Sergei Kariakin won two consecutives victories. The Russian grandmaster beat Davit Navara.
Other matches of the tournament ended in draw.
