Finnish Ambassador to Armenia passed copies of his credentials to Eduard Nalbandyan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Nalbandyan hosted the newly assigned Ambassador of Finland to the Republic of Armenia Christer Michelsson (Residence in Helsinki) on the occasion of passing the copies of his credentials to the Armenian Minister.

Congratulating the Finnish Ambassador on the occasion of assignment, Eduard Nalbandyan wished him good luck and expressed his hope that his activity will foster the development of the Finish-Armenian mutual cooperation in different fields.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia stated that Armenia is interested to develop the political dialogue with Finland via bilateral visits on the highest official level, discussions between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, as well as parliamentary diplomacy. The necessity to activate the commercial cooperation and expand the legal and contractual field was also noted.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, the newly assigned Ambassador of Finland to the Republic of Armenia Christer Michelsson stated that Finland considers quite important the development of the bilateral cooperation with Armenia and the collaboration in the framework of the European Union Eastern Partnership.

During the meeting the interlocutors highlighted different regional and international issues.
