Hranush Hakobyan hands awards to recipients of the 2011 Pan-Armenian Awards "For notable contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity."

Recipients of the 2011 Awards “For notable contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity” received their awards during a solemn ceremony held on January 18. The 2011 Awards were organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the World Armenian Congress.
Attending the ceremony were RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Vice-Presidents of the World Armenian Congress Aram Sargsyan and Vladimir Aghayan, scientists, professors, journalists and others.
The goal of the awards is to encourage the preservation and development of Armenian identity in the Armenian communities of the Diaspora and assess the contributions of individuals and organizations in this strategic act.
The Grand Prize for Best Mother Language Teacher was awarded to 11 teachers, while 24 teachers received the 2nd prize and 14 teachers received the 3rd prize.
The Grand Prize for Best Youth Organization was awarded to 6 organizations, while 11 organizations received the 2nd prize and 10 organizations received the 3rd prize.
In the “Piece of Homeland” category for studies, creations and compositions related to Armenology, the Grand Prize was awarded to 6 participants, while 8 participants received the 2nd Prize and 10 participants received the 3rdprize.
Minister Hranush Hakobyan awarded diplomas, as well as financial and encouraging awards to the recipients.
