Newly appointed UK Ambassadors to Armenia presented their credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan James Eivs and Catherine Jane Lich presented their credentials to Serzh Sargsyan today.
Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassadors on starting their diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished them success. Sargsyan expressed confidence that, with their experience and joint efforts, the newly appointed Ambassadors of the United Kingdom would contribute to the development of Armenian-British relations, as well as to further strengthening and deepening of cooperation in different spheres.
From the angle of the strengthening of relations, the sides attached importance to the activation of reciprocal visits and contacts at different levels, the consultations between the countries' Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the development of partnership with Great Britain in the format of the European Union as well.
The interlocutors also touched upon regional issues, reports the presidential press service.
