Armenia has been selected as the host country for the 2015 Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area.

The Bologna Group today held a session in Copenhagen with the participation of representatives of 47-member countries of the Bologna Process.

Azerbaijan was the only country against Armenia's candidacy.

For the next three years, the Republic of Armenia will assume the role of secretary of the Bologna Process, and Yerevan will become the capital of the European Higher Education Area. Armenia is the first non-European Union member state that is entrusted with this high, responsible mission, reports the Ministry of Education and Science.
