The Batumi authorities denied rumors about installation of erotic sculpture in the city.
Former opposition representative of the local branch of Labour Party David Robakidze said that sculpture depicting an intimate act will be installed in Batumi.
He explained installation of the sculpture by Georgia’s alleged joining a convention on equality of men and women sexual rights.
Robakidze said that the government made such a decision before the New Year.
Novosti Gruzia agency explains that in the end of December the deputies received a bill on women, peace and security within the framework of implementation of the UN Security Council convention.
