Vahagn Arakelyan has resigned from his capacity as RA First Deputy Mayor.

Yerevan’s City Council today unanimously elected Vahe Nikoyan to replace outgoing Vahagn Arakelyan as deputy mayor.

The move came after Arakelyan submitted a voluntary resignation request.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan wished Arakelyan success and then nominated Nikoyan, chief of the municipality’s finance department.
