Armenia’s schoolchildren win 1 gold and 4 bronze medals at the 8th international Olympiad in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The 8th international Olympiad for schoolchildren after Zhautikov on Physics, Mathematics and Informatics ended in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Friday.
54 teams with 343 participants from 18 different countries participated in the Olympiad representing the schools of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Romania, Bulgaria, Indonesia, India, Mongolia, Afghanistan and Nigeria. The schoolchildren of Yerevan’s Physical-Mathematical school after Shahinyan represented Armenia.
By individual results Armenia’s schoolchildren won 1 gold and 4 bronze medals.
Armenia’s team was awarded an Olympiad certificate.
