Georgian President uses back exit after rendezvous with students
Georgia
Mikhail Saakashvili was forced to make use of the back exit of the first campus building of Tbilisi State University, where he was meeting with students, IF reports.
The Georgian President’s visit took place against the background of a protest organized at the main entrance to the university by students who failed to register for the meeting.
At Saakashvili’s meeting with the students, about 30 of their peers, disgusted with his attitude and assessment of events taking place in the country, walked out in protest. "The president chose which questions he wanted to answer, and which not. When we started asking him pointedly critical questions, he called us" Che Guevaras ", and asked us to leave the meeting, which is what we promptly did," - said a student, Thekla Dzhambulidze.
