Hrayr Hovsepyan followed Vahagn Arakelyan`s resignation example.

On January 20 during the regular session of Yerevan City Council, Mayor Taron Margaryan, before passing to the agenda, informed that one of the council members, PAP representative Hrayr Hovsepyan had applied for his resignation.

In accordance with the law, the application will be submitted to the Central Electoral Commission and the City Council member will be replaced with the next PAP representative from the council list of member candidates.

As LURER.com had informed earlier, deputy mayor Vahagn Arakelyan also submitted a voluntary resignation request on January 20. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan wished Arakelyan success and then nominated Vahe Nikoyan, as chief of the municipality’s finance department to replace the latter.
