Protesters in Sofia storm press center as GERB Party leads in Bulgarian vote

About 200 protesters discontent with parliamentary election results in Bulgaria on Sunday tried to storm the press center in the capital, Sofia. The demonstrators demanded annulment of the results of voting. They shouted slogans against the Gerb party "Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria," headed by former Prime Minister of the country, Boyko Borisov.
According to exit polls, GERB won a majority of the votes - about 31%. It’s followed closely by the Bulgarian Socialist Party with 25-27%.
The Liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms, protecting the interests of ethnic Turks and Muslims. Who make up 12% of the population, and the nationalist party "Ataka" broke the 4 % threshold needed to enter parliament.
Official results are expected Monday. To date, the police have managed to bring the situation under control in Sofia.
