Azerbaijan fired more than 1,300 shots in the direction of the Armenia last week.

The adversary violated the ceasefire, at the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, around 200 times in the past week.

Through different weaponry, the vanguard subdivisions of the Azerbaijani army fired more than 1,300 shots in the direction of the Armenian positions, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army Press Service informs. 

The ceasefire violations were more intense specifically on Wednesday and Thursday, during which the adversary violated the ceasefire close to 90 times, firing around 700 shots. 

But honoring the ceasefire, NKR Defense Army vanguard subdivisions refrained from retaliatory operations, for the most part, and confidently defended the military positions.
