"168 Hours": Ministry of Diaspora threatens
Armenian Press
Not a very senior official told the newspaper "168 Hours" that surrendering his apartment to rent family of Syrian Armenians, he was in trouble. The family of Syrian Armenians refused to pay and when the host asked to leave the apartment, the family appealed to the Ministry of Diaspora. He called from there and threatened that if he would not leave the family, his name will be published as a heartless person who wants to leave people in distress.
This man warned that he may be released from work, because of this they decided to complain without a name. On one hand you can understand a person who can not manage his property, but on the other hand there is a family that does not know whom to turn, except the Ministry of Diaspora. But is this the best solution to the issue, unless you consider it a solution? If such a question is solved by one or two families, many other families can lose the opportunity to have an apartment, because now the owners are trying not to rent flats to Syrian Armenians.
