The British tourist who ran around naked through the corridors of a building in the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, after getting drunk on rum, was sentenced to seven months in jail on Thursday.
The man, known as RS, 33, was dressed in just his underpants, and went to the reception of the building before running around naked in a corridor.
The Briton was charged with consuming alcohol without a licence, and committing an indecent act in public, and was given one-month sentence on the first charge and six months for the second offence, and will be deported following his term.

The court heard the Briton had been drinking with friends at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi hotel last year before returning to his accommodation at the Shoreline.
A Nepali security guard, known as ST, 34, told the court that when he started his shift that night he saw the defendant in his underwear arguing with his colleagues.
The security guard told the court: 'He was making noise and arguing with the other security guards when I came.
'He said he tried to help calm down the Briton but the defendant pushed him aside and ran to the second floor of the building.
'I called our control room to contact police and then I followed him to the second floor, where I found that he had taken off his underwear and stood there in the brightly lit corridor, completely naked.'
'I don’t remember anything after that because I was too drunk,' the defendant said.
RS previously denied committing an indecent act but admits drinking alcohol.

The court heard how it took police 30 minutes to talk him from his hiding place on December 20, according to The National.
It was reported that a Nepali security guard, identified as NT, 34, said he noticed the defendant arguing with other security guards, dressed only in his underwear, when he started his shift.
He said the tourist pushed him aside and ran to the second floor of the building after he tried to calm him down.
He said: 'I called our control room to contact police and then I followed him to the second floor, where I found that he had taken off his underwear and stood there in the brightly lit corridor, completely naked.'
This is the latest in a string of court cases involving Britons in Dubai, home to a significant British resident population and a popular holiday spot.
Foreign residents in Dubai must have a licence to legally drink alcohol in the Gulf emirate.
Officials in the Gulf state have prosecuted several British tourists for indecent behaviour and for swearing in public over the past few years.
