Armenia, Grenada establish diplomatic ties.

The Armenian and Grenadian permanent representatives to the United Nations have signed a joint statement on establishing bilateral diplomatic ties.
According to a press release by the Foreign Ministry, the two ambassadors, Karen Nazaryan and Dessima Williams, met after the official ceremony to agree on further steps to promote the bilateral cooperation and to make the dialogue with the United Nations and international organizations more active.
Grenada is an island country and Commonwealth realm consisting of the island of Grenada and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean Sea. Grenada is located northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela, and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The country’s governance is based on the British parliamentary system. Its economy develops largely due to services in the tourism and education sectors, as well as the agricultural exports.
Grenada joined the United Nations in 1974. It is also a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) etc.
