Armenian historical, cultural complex Zvartnots receives artistic night-lighting.

On the occasion of the International Day for Monuments and Sites Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited on April 18 ‘Zvartnots’ historic-cultural reserve-museum, familiarized himself with the exhibited materials and with the new night art illumination and sound systems.
According to government’s press release, as a result of excavations the museum has been complemented by a number of historic samples the total number of which has reached 100.
The museum displays exclusive documentary materials, archive photos, documents, valuable works telling about the excavations made in the territory of the museum during different years.
The permanent exposition in the three showing halls consists of archeological, historical and architectural parts displaying valuable testimonies of Armenian historians dating back to VII-XIII centuries telling about Zvartnots temple.
About AMD 18m have been spent for complementing the museum samples, of which 2.5m has been allocated from the state budget and the other part by the Historic and Cultural Reserve-Museums and Historic Environment Preservation Service state non-trade organization.
About AMD 11.8m have been invested for the night illumination: the ten million has been allocated by Electric Network of Armenia company as donation and 1.8m the Historic and Cultural Reserve-Museums and Historic Environment Preservation Service state non-trade organization.
