Armenia’s Police investigates obstruction of opposition bloc MP candidates’ election campaign.

The opposition bloc Armenian National Congress’ (ANC) MP candidate Violeta Petrosyan called the Police, on Friday at 5:10pm, informing that unidentified people had obstructed her election campaign in the capital Yerevan at around 2:20pm.
She informed the police officers, who arrived on the scene, that 7-8 average-age men had approached her while she was distributing campaign material to the residents, and yelled at her and demanded that she leave. As a result, the election campaign had stopped, Police Press Service informs.
Measures are undertaken to find the aforementioned men, and an investigation is launched.
Separately, Haykakan Zhamanak daily’s Chief Editor and ANC MP candidate Nikol Pashinyan likewise called the police on the same, but at 6:05pm, and informed that his remarks were interrupted during the session of capital Yerevan’s Precinct No.7 Election Commission, at 5pm, thereby inhibiting the implementation of his powers as an MP candidate.
An investigation is underway.
