Kremlin: Until now no one but Russia is able to play role of guarantor of peace in South Caucasus

"Now those masks have been removed a long time ago, and the struggle is waged directly, with an open front," he added.According to Peskov, "indeed, a number of countries are still trying to destabilize the situation around Karabakh, which, by the way, led to the fact that the Azerbaijani side officially announced that these countries are unlikely to claim any mediator role, as they took a one-sided position."Such countries, as per the Kremlin spokesperson, cannot claim anything, and "it is both impossible and irrelevant." "And the fact that they are trying to push us [Russia] out of there, yes, we know that. But for now, no one, except Russia, is able to play such a role as a guarantor of peace and stability in the region.
