On the sidelines of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s session, set to begin in Moscow later today, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will be reportedly offered to an agreement on Armenia’s membership in the Joint Customs Union.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the documents were amended to a certain extent given that Armenia shares no border with any member state of the union. Speaking to the paper, a spokesperson of the president said they have no comments in that connection, except an official press release. But the paper had learned earlier that Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich is also leaving for Moscow. Official reports which emerged on Friday said he discussed possibilities of joining the Union with Russian President Vladimir Putin, adds the paper.
